Diablo Ballet presents “Balanchine & Beyond” at the Del Valle Theatre in Walnut Creek on Friday & Saturday, February 7 & 8, 2020.
WALNUT CREEK – Diablo Ballet’s celebration of their 26th year continues with the second program of the season. Experience a performance of George Balanchine’s Who Cares? set to lively music by George Gershwin. You’ll be swept away by Berceuse by Penny Saunders, Bach Suite for Strings by Sally Streets and more. Dancer Michael Wells will make his choreographic debut with Forward Thinking, featuring music composed and performed live by Justin Levitt. Meet and mingle with the dancers at a dessert and coffee reception following each show.
