VALLEJO – Vallejo’s most enchanting tradition is back! Historic Downtown Vallejo will transform into a wonderland of whimsy, lights, and community spirit for this annual festival and parade. This beloved event, now a staple of the city’s festive calendar, promises a day packed with magic, music, and merriment for all ages. The celebration kicks off at 2pm in Unity Plaza at the JFK Library with the Wonderland Festival Activities, featuring dancing horses, craft and food vendors, children’s rides and interactive fun.
At 4:30pm, the streets come alive with the Mad Hatter Parade, starting at Georgia Street from Sonoma Boulevard to Santa Clara Street. Expect fantastical floats, costumed characters, and surprises around every corner. Then, as twilight falls, the Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6pm at the JFK Library, followed by the Lighted Boat Parade at 6:30pm, illuminating the waterfront with dazzling displays.
