WALNUT CREEK – Who doesn’t love a good garden brawl? That’s exactly what Center REPertory Company delivers in its latest comedy written by Karen Zacarías, who penned Center REP’s hysterical The Book Club Play. Native Gardens transports audiences to the suburbs, where the very pregnant Tania and her husband Pablo have purchased a house. Their new neighbors, Virginia and Frank, are a seemingly lovely couple and longtime members of the community. In fact, they are the unofficial king and queen of the whole neighborhood. But all it takes is a questionable fence line, a prize-worthy garden and tense rivalries to make Tania and Pablo realize their dream home may become the starting point of World War III.
