The NorCal Celtic Festival is in Woodland on Saturday & Sunday, April 11 & 12, 2026, (Sat: 9am – 5pm Sun: 9am – 4pm) at the Yolo County Fairgrounds.
WOODLAND – Each spring, the heart of Woodland beats to the rhythm of pipes, drums, and centuries‐old tradition as the NorCal Celtic Festival brings Scottish and Celtic culture vividly to life. Hosted at the historic Yolo County Fairgrounds, this beloved event promises a weekend filled with music, heritage and community spirit.
Among the competitions, demonstrations, and food and drink tastings, is the return of the Wicked Tinkers, a powerhouse Celtic band known for their electrifying blend of tribal drums, bagpipes, and didgeridoo.
You will be fully immersed in the culture with Scottish clans and associations hosting heritage and artisan booths, sharing stories, traditions, and unique goods. Experience classic Scottish Highland dances and heavy athletics, and meet some of the iconically shaggy Highland cows.
