LIVERMORE – Enjoy dancing, demonstrations, food and crafts at an exciting event celebrating the Year of the Rat. KungFu Dragon USA will present a colorful, dramatic lion dance and a thrilling exhibition of martial arts. Other highlights include performances by Xiaopei Chinese Dance, a Chinese opera and a fashion show featuring traditional clothing.
Margaret Zhao of the Life Renewing Center will speak on “Chinese Health and Healing: The Art of Qigong.” Browse the fascinating displays on Chinese calligraphy and Bay Area Asian history. Check out the storytelling corner for children and the art activity station where you can create a Lunar New Year craft to take home.
