Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre presents “West Side Story” at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton from January 25 – February 9, 2020.
PLEASANTON – Set in New York City’s West Side, this timeless love story makes for a rousing, romantic musical. Tony and Maria are star-crossed lovers who find themselves in the middle of a dangerous feud between two rival gangs, the Jets and the Sharks. Music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim will accompany a tragic plot inspired by William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet that still resonates today.
