The Blues, Brews & BBQ Cook-Off is on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12-4pm in Downtown Fairfield at Texas & Jefferson Streets.
FAIRFIELD – Get ready for a sizzling showdown at this fifth annual event filled with smoky BBQ aromas, refreshing brews, and the sweet sounds of live blues music. Will you be Fairfield’s next BBQ Master? Enter the chicken or rib categories, or both! One fee covers all entries. Rib entries will automatically be entered in the People’s Choice category and juried judging will be based on Kansas City Barbecue Society rules.
General entry grants you access to the event grounds, where you can soak in the live music, explore vendor booths, and purchase delicious food and drinks from a variety of local vendors. A VIP ticket will get you the opportunity to taste and vote on competition ribs, two beverages of choice, reserved VIP seating and more. VIP tickets sold out last year, so get yours early!
