Celebrate 83 years of “Rocking & Rolling in our Community” at the Twilight Parade on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 6pm in downtown Walnut Creek.
WALNUT CREEK – Kick off the 83rd annual Walnut Festival at the Twilight Parade. This year’s theme, “83 Years – Rocking and Rolling in our Community,” will be represented by participants as they proudly march down Main Street.
You’ll be entertained by the creative costumes, floats, decorated cars, motorcycles, bicycles, dance and cheer teams, marching bands and more as they make their way along Main Street, from Mt. Diablo Boulevard to Civic Drive, ending at Civic Park. The parade is judged by the Pacific Coast Judges Association and high school bands are awarded points and prizes for their participation.
This free event is always popular, so be sure to arrive early and stake out a great spot to view all the exciting parade action!
