DUBLIN – Come enjoy all the St. Patrick’s Day festivities and fun you would expect from a city named Dublin! The two-day St. Patrick’s Day Festival at the Dublin Civic Center is one of the largest on the West Coast.
The celebration begins on Saturday, March 14 with the Alameda County Firefighters Local 55 and their annual Pancake Breakfast at Fire Station #16, serving festive green pancakes fresh off the griddle.
Afterward, the Dublin Lions Club Parade will wind its way through downtown Dublin beginning at 9:30am. Be sure to arrive early and stake out a spot anywhere along the route.
The main event, the St. Patrick’s Day Festival, takes place on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, and will feature Irish entertainment, authentic foods and beverages, shopping at over 250 vendors’ booths, carnival rides for all ages and a pop-up Irish tea cottage. Finish off the weekend on Sunday, March 15 with more excitement at the 22nd annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk on Dublin Boulevard!
