Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre presents “The Fantasticks” at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton November 2 – 17, 2019.
PLEASANTON – The world’s longest-running musical, The Fantasticks, debuted in 1960 and has run for over 50 years, entertaining audiences around the world for generations. Witness the tale of a boy, a girl and the extreme lengths their fathers go to bring them together by conspiring to keep them apart. A faux family feud, a mock abduction and a daring rescue are all part of this enchanting story. The experience is heightened even further by a timeless score, featuring classics such as “Try to Remember,” “They Were You” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain.”
