BENICIA – Benicia was founded in 1847 and was one of the first incorporated cities in California, only a month after Sacramento. It was even the California State Capitol from 1853 to 1854! Explore Benicia’s past by embarking on a self-guided tour around the city, discovering the yellow markers at sites of historical significance.
