LAFAYETTE – Embark on an adventure at a location offering more than you’d expect from a water supply reservoir. The area is ideal for year-round outdoor activities, from hiking and jogging to fishing and boating.

Walk, jog, bike or roller skate along the paved 2.7-mile Lakeside Nature Trail or take to the unpaved 4.7-mile Rim Trail for a scenic trek. There are 928 acres of open space for hiking, wildlife photography or simply enjoying the view. Kids ages 2 to 5 will enjoy the children’s playground. Dogs can join you on your walk if kept on a leash.

Rowboats and pedal boats are available to rent from 8am to 3pm and provide a unique and enjoyable way to explore the reservoir. You’re also welcome to take your own rowboats, canoes, kayaks and sailboats out on the water.
