Digital Fitness – Give It a Try!
Joining Koko FitClub last year right after Thanksgiving was the best thing I have EVER done for my body, mind and spirit!
I’ve always been one to try to be healthy, but at the age of 55, my joints could no longer take the pounding of running trails or jumping around my living room doing fitness workouts. When I joined Koko Fit, I definitely could have stood to lose some weight, but more importantly, I just wanted to feel good. As we age, you can literally hurt yourself bending over.
I started by calling and making an appointment to meet a Koko Fit trainer. She showed me how to use the digital equipment, and how to measure my BMI (Body Mass Index), a measure of body fat based on your weight in relation to your height.
I then went to Koko Fit diligently every other day, doing 15 minutes of Tabata on the elliptical, followed by 30 minutes of weight training on the Koko Fit weight machines. The weight equipment is somewhat like operating a video game that is engaging and fun. Everything is backed up on your flash drive.
Today, at my one-year anniversary, I am 20 pounds lighter with an incredible BMI. I make sure to still go at least 2 – 3 times per week when I’m in town and mostly steer clear of overly processed foods.
For me, digital fitness has the flexibility, fun and results that I haven’t been able to get anywhere else. Give Koko Fit a try!
