Created by Vallejo artist JeanCherie in collaboration with guest artists\, the artworks celebrate the more than 11\,000 women who built ships at Mare Island during World War II.\nWendy the Welder stands at the heart of the exhibit\, representing the strength and resilience of the women whose contributions helped shape both local and national history.
