Winters Youth Day

Winters Youth Day is Friday & Saturday, April 25 & 26, 2025, with the Opening Ceremony on Friday and the Derby, parade & festivities on Saturday.

WINTERS – Founded in 1933 to teach young people about the aspects of city government, this decades old celebration kicks off Friday night with an opening ceremony that includes a talent show. Then, Saturday morning Rotary will be serving up a Pancake Breakfast followed by the Kiddie Parade at 9:45am and then the Main Parade at 10am. The Kids Faire with food and craft vendors will be open until 4pm with the Duck Derby being the grand finale at 3:30pm at Putah Creek behind the Winters Community Center. Cash prizes of $200, $300 and $500 will go to the winners. Anyone may participate by “adopting” a duck by 2:30pm the day of the derby. Everyone is invited to this celebration for youth of all ages.
