WALNUT CREEK – Join Mayor Kevin Wilk in appreciating those who have gone above and beyond for others. Whether they be a neighbor, teacher or thoughtful stranger, nominate someone whose actions were especially meaningful to you over the past year. A panel of graduates from the Walnut Creek Citizens Institute will handpick three local heroes to be recognized in the next City Council meeting, shining a light on the simple acts of kindness that make Walnut Creek special.
