Most of these local farm stands offer delivery and local pickup, allowing you to shop for your goodies from the comfort of your home!

Winters Fruit Tree

WINTERS – Wow, talk about a little gem! Located off Highway 128 in Winters, this haven for fruit, nut and honey lovers has been “standing” strong since 1968.

Originally built to sell commercially grown Royal Apricots to the local community, this farm stand has expanded to selling seasonal fruits and veggies, local honey, nuts, eggs, preserves, olive oils and more.

I recently picked up some boysenberries, strawberries, dried pears, pineapple, honey and chocolate-covered almonds. The boysenberries were SO sweet and perfect, and the chocolate covered almonds to die for. I definitely will be stopping here on a regular basis from now on.

Located at 415 Grant Avenue in Winters. Shop in-store or online for store pickup. Delivery is offered for Winters residents. Open seasonally, hours may vary. Call 530.795.2122 or visit WintersFruitTree.com.

Pedrick Produce

DIXON – Open year-round, Pedrick is your one-stop-shop for any and all of your produce, nuts and preserves. In addition to pantry staples, you’ll discover a plethora of local and novelty hot sauces, honey, delectable chocolates and so much more.

On my most recent visit, I picked up some strawberries, cherries, chocolate coconut haystacks, date rolls (my favorite) and garlic onion pistachios. Another cooking staple of mine is the minced dried onion and garlic, which make for a delicious seasoning option to add any quick sauté. During any given month, you’ll find seasonal items from local farms like fresh flowers, lavender, pies and more.

Shop in-store or order online at PedrickProduce.com for pickup. You can also sign up for their Farm Boxes. Open 7 days a week, 7:30am – 7:30pm. Located at 6850 Sievers Rd. in Dixon.

Erickson Ranch

“From tree to fruit to jar” is the motto of Erickson Ranch. With over 17 varieties of specialty jams, it’s safe to assume that this company knows preserves. Handmade by the small-batch method on their farm in the beautiful Suisun Valley, fruit is picked ripe; therefore less sugar is added, allowing the full, true flavor of the fruit to shine.

With popular flavors like Blenheim Apricot, Kumquat Marmalade, Marionberry and Strawberry, Erickson Ranch has been perfecting jams since 1950.

It is encouraged to order online at EricksonRanch.com. Orders are shipped weekly on Tuesdays. Farm visits are welcomed by appointment; call 707.290.9161 and speak with Ray before heading out to the ranch. Located at 2482 Cordelia Rd. in Suisun Valley.
