SUNOL/FREMONT – Experience a railroad museum where the exhibits come to life! The Pacific Locomotive Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates Niles Canyon Railway. This living history museum is dedicated to informing all generations about the significant role railroads played in the development of California and the United States. Their mission is to develop and operate a working railroad museum for the benefit of the general public, increasing the education, enjoyment and appreciation of America’s western railroads. Visitors can also examine railroad artifacts on display and interpretive educational exhibits at the Sunol Depot.
